Richard Cook - Microlight Flying Instructor
Contact TRAINING

Your flight training will follow the British Microlight Aircraft Association syllabus, as approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.

The regulations require at least 25 hours of instruction before your General Flying Test for your licence, but only those with previous flying experience are likely to achieve this. As a rough guide, the national average is about 36 hours. Budget for that and you won't be far wrong.

How long it takes to get your licence depends on the individual, the weather and the frequency of lessons. Generally, someone able to fly once a week will learn faster than someone flying just once a month.

I can tailor your training to suit your needs and timescale, give me a call anytime for information (for instance you can train on your own aircraft).
